We are a firmly established company formed in 1991 and based in Houghton-le-Spring in the North East of England. We specialise in the manufacture and supply of Traditional and Modern Fibre Ropes, Twines and Cordage products.

Following a long tradition in the rope making and cordage industry, we have acquired an expertise that can only be gained through many years of experience within this industry.

With the acquisition of the interests in’ D. F. Ellwood and Sons’ cordage company in 2003’, we were able to complement and increase our range of products to service all industries.

We are now able to offer a superior product range and service of all Natural and Synthetic Fibre cordage and also the manufacture of handmade ancillary products complete with a customised rope cutting and splicing service.

We guarantee our product quality and backup service is second to none and we are committed to the production of goods which fully meet the requirements and expectations of our customers.
